BTCC 2008 - Snetterton Test - 24/25 June 2008
2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship

Deep into the BTCC's summer break, a number of teams have taken the opportunity to test at the Snetterton circuit in Norfolk on June 24/25. SEAT dominated the test with Darren Turner quickest on the opening morning, while Jason Plato set the pace in the following three sessions. The BTCC is back at Snetterton on 12/13 July for rounds 16, 17 and 18 of the championship.

BTCC 2008 - Rounds 13, 14 & 15 @ Croft
2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship

Colin Turkington scored his first ever double BTCC victory at Croft today as Jason Plato's championship challenge took a severe blow. Plato picked up just three points, leaving him trailing in fourth position. Meanwhile, Fabrizio Giovanardi continues to lead the standings, with a 23-point gap back to teammate Matt Neal, who now sits second. There's now a six-week break until the next meeting, which takes place at Snetterton over the weekend of 12/13 July.

BTCC 2008 - Rounds 10, 11 & 12 @ Thruxton
2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship

Tom Onslow-Cole put in a stunning performance to win two races for VX Racing at Thruxton. Victory in race three went to Jason Plato, which was some consolation for the SEAT driver, who was disqualified from race one following a technical infringement. Championship leader Fabrizio Giovanardi was one of a number of drivers to suffer punctures at the tough Hampshire circuit, losing the lead of race two on the final lap. Despite his misfortunes, Giovanardi continues to lead the championship standings from Jason Plato. See below for full results and reports!

2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship

SEAT Sport UK scored its first wins with the diesel-powered Leon as Jason Plato and Darren Turner both tasted victory at Donington Park. Between the SEAT victories, Fabrizio Giovanardi scored his third win of the season to leave Donington with an extended lead in the championship. BTCC 2008 - Rounds 4, 5 & 6 @ Rockingham
2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship

There were three different winners at Rockingham in an exciting day's racing. Vauxhall's Fabrizio Giovanardi retains the championship lead as the series head to Donington Park. Gordon Shedden won the opening race, while Mat Jackson led the pack home in race two. The third race was hit by a heavy downpour, which led to a feast of overtaking, and at the chequered flag, it was Matt Neal who crossed the line first. See below for full results and reports!

2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship

Reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi leads the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship after the opening rounds. The VX Racing driver won the first two races of the day, before Colin Turkington claimed victory in race three. However, Giovanardi's lead is just two points, with independent BMW driver Mat Jackson close on his tail after scoring two second places and a fourth. See below for results and reports!
