Carly Motors BTCC Team sponsored by Schnitzer Sportscars
Carly Motors will enter two ETCC-spec BMW E46s, sponsored by Schnitzer Sportscars, in the 2004 British Touring Car Championship. The Dutch team will prepare the cars, which will be driven by British drivers Tom Ferrier and James Hanson. The team was launched at Brands Hatch on October 31 2003, and BTCCPages.com was there to find out more.
Schnitzer Sportscars Ltd is a partnership between Schnitzer (based in Freilassing in Germany), James Hanson and Tom Ferrier, who have both raced touring cars for BMW in the past. The partnership markets and develops the Schnitzer road cars specifically for the UK market.
Netherlands-based team Carly Motors will prepare the BMWs for Ferrier and Hanson. The team has an impressive motorsport CV, and is headed by Carly Pellinkhof, known in his homeland as the 'Motor Doctor'.
