| Although not directly related to the BTCC,
this article is intended to give details of an opportunity that has arisen within the 'Supercoupe Cup', a series
which numerous BTCC drivers have competed in.
The opportunity is for sponsorship of a car within the Supercoupe cup. The driver in question is Martin Young,
who despite being relatively inexperienced, is obviously very talented, qualifying on pole for his first race last year,
and finishing the race in second position.
In the 2000 season, Martin drove a Rover 216GTi, but has since managed to obtain a new car for the 2001 season,
which, from limited testing time, appears to be an improvement on last year's.
The main hurdle which Martin and his team need to overcome is that of sponsorship. The new car needs only minor
modifications to bring it up to 2001 season spec, and the budget for running a car such as this one is
relatively low, but time is becoming limited, with the team already having missed the start of the championship.
There would be many benefits for any potential sponsor of Martin and his car, including:
- Press coverage (Both local and national)
- Car can be coloured/stickered to suit sponsor
- Massive public exposure at race circuits
- TV coverage (3 rounds of the championship will be shown on Sky Sports)
- High speed circuit rides on track days in the car for the sponsors/associates
- Circuit hospitality/Race tickets + passes
There are obviously also many other potential benefits, and for full details, please contact Martin personally.

There is clearly a good opportunity for an individual or organisation to gain a great deal of public
exposure through this venture, but it is important to act quickly. With the right backing, Martin and his team
have the potential to be highly successful, with the possibilty of moving up through the ranks of motorsport.
If you or your company is looking for an investment opportunity, this is surely worth considering.
