Fabrizio Giovanardi took victory in the first two races at Thruxton, before Jason Plato bounced back to win race three. The Italian driver was able to guide his Vectra home in the first race despite suffering engine problems for the last five laps. His VX Racing team fitted a new engine to the Vectra before race two, but even that couldn't stop Giovanardi from making it a double. Plato started fifth on the grid for race three, but quickly got the better of early race leader David Pinkney. See below for full results and reports. |
